AthenaP plate for Vortex ST enclosed has been great. Wanted a metal plate that would function similar to the OEM plate and act as a spacer to allow for use of larger 6 x 32 screws and would mount directly in the slide. All of these other high-end op optic mounting plate companies want to use separate thin 4–40 screws to mount the red dot to their plate when they don’t need to…. Have had several issues with those in the past due to screw breakage. Athena precision got it right AND with a fair price. Just wish they made a Kimber 2K11!!! Get to it folks !!
Absolutely saved my skin from having to return the sight since S&W gave me 5 different plates when you were supposed to get 6 and that 6th one was the one I needed. I’m glad I found Athena after seeing a few people having the same issue as me. This plate is absolutely spectacular and will purchase from them again in the future. The metal plate is definitely better than the plastic ones you get with the M&P 2.0.
