This steel adapter plate enables the seamless mounting of a Leupold Delta Point Pro & Vortex Defender ST/XL red dot sight or any optic with the same Delta Point Pro footprint to your Glock MOS slide. I installed this on my Gen 6 model 45 for a Vortex Defender ST Enclosed. The Gen 6 optic system is an improvement over the MOS plate system as it removes tolerance stacking of 2 sets of screws. However, I feel safer having the recoil lugs made of metal vs polymer. The Athena Gen 6 plates fixes this. The fit was excellent without any movement. I have run 300 rounds so far and have not had any issues, everything is still torqued to spec. My only negative was the included screws were not the same torx size as the tool included by Vortex and I didn't want to risk cracking my lens using a standard bit as others have. Fortunately, Vortex included M4 x 0.7 (11 mm length) screws which fit perfectly. I researched this beforehand to ensure no issues would occur. I highly recommend this plate.
Ordered for a Glock 45 gen 5 to place a Holosun EPS gold dot 6 moa. Just a perfect fit & high quality construction, zero movement. Trijicon standard night sights co witness. Previously I've return a plate due to my wanting a different optic to fit, customer service return process was excellent. Highly recommend.
Tolerance was good to the point I had to push-fit the plate in so it'd seat flush. No complaints overall with finish, gets the job done well.
This is probably my 10th plate I believe from Athena precision and it definitely won’t be my last. Their plates are superb. They fit better than 99% of plates out there, they include grade A hardware for attatchment and their customer service is top notch. If you need plates, this is the company you want to
