I installed this on my Gen 6 model 45 for a Vortex Defender ST Enclosed. The Gen 6 optic system is an improvement over the MOS plate system as it removes tolerance stacking of 2 sets of screws. However, I feel safer having the recoil lugs made of metal vs polymer. The Athena Gen 6 plates fixes this. The fit was excellent without any movement. I have run 300 rounds so far and have not had any issues, everything is still torqued to spec. My only negative was the included screws were not the same torx size as the tool included by Vortex and I didn't want to risk cracking my lens using a standard bit as others have. Fortunately, Vortex included M4 x 0.7 (11 mm length) screws which fit perfectly. I researched this beforehand to ensure no issues would occur. I highly recommend this plate.
