Why choose Athena Precision red dot plates over others? What makes them the best?

Athena Precision plates are CNC-machined from hardened, heat-treated steel with tight tolerances, field-tested for duty and competition, made in the USA by a veteran-owned team, and backed by a lifetime warranty—built to hold zero when it matters.

What materials are Athena Precision plates made from?

Every plate is cut from hardened, heat-treated steel to maximize strength, thread integrity, and durability compared to aluminum or standard steel.

Which optic footprints do Athena Precision plates support?

We support popular footprints including Holosun 509T, Holosun EPS, Trijicon RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro (DPP), Aimpoint ACRO, and more. Check the Plate Finder for your exact match.

Are Athena Precision plates compatible with different firearm models and optics?

Yes. We cover major brands like Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, FN, Staccato, HK, Vortex, Trijicon, Holosun, and others. Use the Plate Finder to confirm fitment for your firearm and optic.

How do Athena Precision plates maintain zero and ensure superior accuracy?

Precision CNC tolerances, hardened steel, and a locked-in interface (bosses/screw posts) prevent movement under recoil so your point of aim stays true after high round counts, impacts, and harsh conditions.

Can I install Athena Precision optic plates myself?

Yes. Installation is straightforward with included hardware. We recommend a small amount of thread locker (e.g., Loctite 222) and following the included instructions for proper torque and cure time.

Where are Athena Precision products made?

Engineered, manufactured, finished, and shipped from our facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are a veteran-owned American company.

What warranty do you offer?

All Athena Precision products include a lifetime warranty against material and manufacturing defects. We also accept returns on new, unused items within a reasonable period—contact support for help.

How low do Athena Precision red dot plates sit?

Our designs sit lower than most plates—often compared to a milled-slide feel—for faster presentation and better co-witness options. Exact thickness varies by model; see each product description.

Who uses Athena Precision products?

Trusted by law enforcement, military, competition shooters, and concealed carriers—plus any serious shooter who demands reliability and long-term zero retention.
