Our quality program ensures we provide our customers with exactly the specifications
required for their products. At Athena we believe quality is a result of robust
repeatable processes with attention to process details and process improvement.
We employ first article inspections and in-process inspections that ensure customers
specifications are met on every part.
Our inspection equipment includes a Zeiss
Eclipse Coordinate Measuring Machine, which can perform perpendicular, parallelism,
roundness, angels, true position, cylindricity, coaxiality, and GDT Symmetry. This
CMM is programmable and can drastically reduce the inspection time and improve consistency
on in-process part inspections. The CMM is capable of measuring in X axis to 28
inches, Y axis to 28 inches, and Z axis to 22 inches. Other inspection equipment
includes a Nikon optical comparator, Brown & Sharpe 24” digital height gauge, precision
gauge pins, and conventional precision measuring equipment.
